Every June, The Forestry Commission put on two gigs over one weekend in a woodland cutting in the middle of Sherwood Forest. Like a mini festival, it’s been host to the likes of Erasure, Keane, Travis, Paul Weller and, er, Simply Red.

Great idea, but far too many casual fans with their picnics and fold-away chairs!
