Set in a massive building beside the canal in one of Nottingham’s favourite summer drinking locations a stone’s throw from the railway station, Glee is where the famous comedy club Jongleurs used to be.
It’s become a serene venue, predominantly for the folky, stripped-back artists and comedians for whom you can watch beseated. The bar even sells cakes. Yup, Glee is twee.
Although with that said, Japanese all-girl punk titans Shonen Knife proved it can be the perfect host for some proper heavy stuff, too.

Advance online booking is available 24 hours a day right here with a credit or debit card. To place a booking via the Glee Club Box Office or for general enquiries please call the Box Office, opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am – 6.30pm and Saturdays 10am – 5pm. Not Bank Holidays or Sundays. Cheque bookings may be made only by prior arrangement with the Box Office and must be received at least 10 days in advance of the show.
On the day of the show the Box Office concludes bookings at 5pm.

Door Sales
A limited number of spaces are available for most comedy and music shows on the night (unfortunately no door sales are available for sold out music shows or Christmas Party Nights). Buying on the door is not recommended for anything other than small groups – advance booking for all shows is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. Please note generally door sales may be more expensive than booking in advance.

Wheelchair spaces are available but are limited and The Box Office should be notified as far in advance as possible. Please note we do present some standing music shows at which there may be little or no seating available – the format of each show is available on the What’s On section of the site.
